Umm... Could you give me a sec?
Well, I suppose sacrifices must be made. I had a deadline to finish a very important documentary so I was forced to set aside this cutie-patootie fan project. Sigh!
Really such a shame and I thought I did a great job with it... He turned out so cute! Those chubby-wubby wegs, big blue eyes, and teeny tiny shield. Damn! He destroys my soul with cuteness. But alas! Even with a job well done I have missed my sworn deadline. Oh dear... Here come the tears again.
I'm the worst Captain America fan and he's like my most fave Avenger eva!!! Ugh! Why time, Why? Why you do this to me? ToT
And I've actually planned this for almost a year... I was like, "I'm gonna make a Captain America ami, tag Chris Evans then we'll walk into the sunset, kiss, get married, have our own little Captain Americas and Duchess Galas and... And!" Wait! Was that out loud?
Ahem! Anyway... -O_O- What's done is done and the next best thing now is to put up the pattern. It's basically the same as my mirmo version of Loki, but of course with adjustments here and there. ^^

*Okay, this is the tricky part... The bangs. If you counted correctly then your last stitch should land on the right side of the hair cap
* From there, you will crochet across going to the left. In other words, starting from the bottom of the supposed sideburn, going up and across the hairline, then down the other sideburn. Is that clear? [Cricket Sound] Sigh! Even I'm confused with it. Okay, just bare with this diagram then.
Row 18: 6sc, FLO [2sc, 1hdc, 2dc, 3tr, 2dc, 1hdc, 1sc, 1sl, 1sc, 1hdc, 3dc, 1dc, 1sc], 6sc (32)

First time I crocheted the bangs and thought it turned it okay... Not bad for a first try, yah? It's a breath of fresh hair from my usual hair attaching techniques. I think I'll use this more often. ^^
