I really love the sweet vintage look to it. Don't you? ^^
FLOWER BEAR
Materials:Monaco Yarn Shade #19 - Raincoat (5-6 skeins)
Crochet Hook - F5 (3.75 mm)
Small black buttons
Black thread
Fiberfill stuffing
As you have noticed I used Black crochet thread instead of the usual embroidery floss. Well, I found that it embroiders better and easier to stitch on compared to the latter. Of course that's just me. Use whatever you think works for you. ^^

The pattern suggests to make only six flowers for each shade, but I added a few more since I felt it didn't completely cover all the spaces.
The French knot was quite a challenge and I would've gone through with it if I wasn't that much pressed in time. I decided to just embroider asterisks things in the middle instead. It was a far cry from the French knot but hey, I'd say it turned out pretty snazzy. ^^
If you're wondering how I attached the flowers... I used glue. As in super strength glue to keep it all together. I could've sewn everything up but time really hated me that much. Hehehe! ^^ So after less than two weeks, I was able to finish the teddy bear and flower pot exactly on my mom's birthday. Yey for me!!! ^^ Although the night before I had to pull an all nighter with less than 3 hours of sleep and office the next day at 6 a.m. sharp. Migraine? Miraculously not much.
Of course there were some errors here and there. It would be a miracle if it hadn't. But it's still such an achievement if I might say. Anyway my mom didn't mind if it wasn't perfect, she loved it nonetheless and that's all that matters. ^^
